L'Oreal Color Riche Exclusive Collection Red Lipsticks

Red Lipstick has the power to transform your look from great to glamorous! Today, I'm sharing two lipsticks from the L'Oreal Color Riche Exclusive Collection Reds. I'm sharing Julianne's and Doutzen's Red. 

I love both of these colors and I think they look great against my skin tone. I love the contrast of a bright red lipstick against my porcelain skin. These two lipsticks do have different tones. Doutzen's leans more towards an orange-red, whereas Julianne's is more of a pink-red. I have shown swatches in both indoor lighting and natural to show what the color looks like in both. They both have a creamy texture too as they glide on your lips. They are pretty pigmented so there's no need for too many layers. 

I think anyone can wear these shades because it's all about the confidence you have to wear it it in the first place. If you have fair skin like me, try a bright red lip this season to contrast against your light skin. If you have medium to darker skin, try a medium red to a deep wine red  It will look beautiful!

Favorite Pink Products

It's no lie that im a total pink girl. Tonight, I'm sharing some of my favorite beauty products that happen to be pink. Plus this cute mug that I just had to throw into the mix! 

Nexxus Color Assure Pre-wash Primer. 

This is a must for any girl who colors or highlights her hair. I love this primer. I use it before I shampoo and it helps lock in my color and keep it vibrant for longer. 

Keep Calm and Carry On Shopping Mug

This mug is the cutest thing and was only $2.99 at TjMaxx. 

E.O.S. Berry Blossom Body Lotion

Ok, so let's just talk about how cute this bottle is! Of course the EOS products are amazing and this lotion is one of my favorites. It has a fresh and sweet smell and keeps my hands and body super soft. 

Loreal Paris Nutri-Gloss High Shine Glossing Mist 

This is a new product from Loreal and I absolutely love it! I have received a lot of compliments so far on my shiny hair. I love the shine it adds to my hair and the weightless, non-greasy feel. 

Milani Color Statement Matte Lipstick in Matte Diva 

If you are looking for a fabulous hot pink lipstick than this one is perfect! It has a matte finish so the focus is really on your beautiful lips. The gold case is completely chic. The color is a very bright pink so make sure you are ready for some head turns! 

Milani Baked Blush in Delizioso Pink

You've heard me talk about how fabulous Milani makeup products are and here's another of my favorite blushes. The pink is a brighter pink and I love how it looks against my fair complexion. 

Isaac Mizrahi Fabulous Perfume 

Isaac Mizrahi creates classy and chic women's clothes and a perfume that is just the same. This scent is fun and classic! 

Victoria's Secret Fabulous Beyond Glamorous Body Mist 

This is another great perfume that has the same name as the one above and smells just as great. This one is very fruity and light, but is very glamorous for day and night. 

Viva La Juicy Lotion 

This lotion by Juicy Couture smells great just like the perfume and the size is perfect for your purse to carry on the go!

Red Red Lips!

Red Lips! What a classic! Red lips can really make a statement and brighten your whole face and complete your look! My favorite is a red lip with an LBD or all black ensemble with leopard accents. It's a look that will stand the test of time and is always chic.

There are several red lipsticks that I have on my list of favorites, but the one I'm wearing today is Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in Fire & Ice. It's really the perfect red color for everyone. I love that it's an orangey-red. This lipstick is a creme, do it glides on smoothly and it is super pigmented. The best part is that this lipstick is around $5-$7 at Target, Walmart, and Walgreens, etc. You can still look fabulous without wearing a high-end expensive lipstick. Did you know that it has been around since 1952 and is one of the classic red shades in the Revlon collection? I don't think this shade is going anywhere! Have you tried this lipstick and loved it too?!

Makeup of the Day

Pretty in Pink! I love this matte pink lipstick from Revlon. The color is Sultry Samba. A pink lipstick is a fun alternative to red, which can seem more formal at times. I love a matte finish too, which really lets your lips stand out. I have see this specific color, Sultry Samba at Walmart and Ulta beauty and of course on the Revlon website. 

Makeup is a way of enhancing your beauty. Makeup is the completer of a fabulous look. It can be really fun to experiment with and if you find a brand/color that works for you, than stick with it! My foundation is a perfect example of this. Since I have very light, pale skin, I have had a hard time finding a foundation that not only matches my skin color without turning pink or orange, but that is also budget friendly. After years of searching and trying different kinds, I finally tried L'Oreal Paris True Match Super Blendable Makeup in the Warm tone Porcelain. Part of my trouble was that I didn't realize I had a warm undertone to my skin! This foundation is perfect. It also has a very light feeling, not heavy feeling on my face. I use Maybelline Fit Me powder in Translucent to set my foundation. 

Different lighting can affect the look of your makeup as well, so make sure to test your makeup in natural light to get the most seamless color match.

Some of my Favorite Hair & Body Products

Today, I thought I'd share some of my favorite hair and body products, which I have been using for a while and love!

Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Stress Relief Eucalyptus Mint Body Lotion. 

Ever since I tried this lotion, I've been hooked. I love the Aromatherapy line from Bath & Body Works. This scent in particular, the stress relief, has amazing calming powers. I like to use it at night to calm my mind and relax. It is a great lotion to keep at your work desk as well to help relieve stress on the job. I love the glass bottle that this lotion comes in too.  There are other varieties of this scent including shampoo and conditioner, pillow mist, bar soap, etc. 

L'Oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray for color treated hair. 

This hairspray literally brushes away with the stroke of a brush like it says. I've always been a huge fan of L'Oreal products. This hairspray is available in different hold strengths and this one I use is particularly for color-treated hair.  So all of you ladies who highlight or dye your hair, this hairspray will protect your color with a UV filter that will prevent fading. 

Nexxus Color Assure Shampoo with White Orchid Extract 

I recently started using this shampoo. Let's just start off by saying how pretty the bottle is because I'm a pretty packaging obsessed person. I love the way this shampoo keeps my color vibrant. 

Nexxus Color Assure Pre-Wash Primer

Use this on dry hair before washing and it helps protect from fading when you wash. I love the softness it gives my hair. 

Victoria's Secret Fabulous Beyond Glamorous Body Mist 

This is one of my favorite body mists. It has such a lovely scent and is long-lasting. 

Jergen's BB Body Skin Perfecting Cream

After discovering this a while back, I love this BB lotion. It is great at perfecting your skin and when used continually, it gives your skin with a soft glow. I use the one for all light skin tones, but there is one for medium and darker skin tones too. It has a great scent and after just a couple days I notice a difference in my skin. It is available with sunscreen as well.

National Lipstick Day

Happy National Lipstick Day! To celebrate, I am sharing my favorite lipsticks. These are my go to's that are always in my bag. Lipstick can be a fabulous finishing touch to your look!

1. Milani Color Statement lipstick in Matte Diva. I love Milani lipsticks because they are so pigmented and last a long time without replying. The chic hold case is a bonus and very fun to pull out of your bag. This color is one of my favorites because it is such a bright, vibrant pink, but has a matte finish. 

2. Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Fire & Ice. I love this color. I love this orangey- red color that pairs well with my fair skin. 

3. Maybelline Colorsensational the Vivids in Fuchsia Flash. This is another great bright pink option. There is a slight sheen to it. It is the one I am wearing in the photo. 

4. Circa Beauty Color Absolute Velvet Luxe Lipstick in 09 Rita. This is a good neutral red color. The case is super chic. The staying power isn't as long as others I've tried though. 

5. LOreal Infallible Pro-Last 24 hour Lipcolor in Berry Chic 24. This is the best long-wearing Lipcolor I've tried. It is simply amazing! Put on the lipcolor, wait 2 minutes and then gloss over the topcoat to seal in your color. This color literally lasts through eating, drinking, talking, and through a day of work. I was amazed when I first tried it. 

6. LOreal Infallible Pro-Last 24 hour Lipcolor in Infallible Red.

7. Rimmel London Provocalips 16 hour Kiss Proof Color in 310 Little Mink. A great magenta color. I found that this one doesn't last as long as the LOreal ones, but it is only has a 16 hour time frame instead of 24 hours. The topcoat is a liquid gloss coat instead of a stick. There are not a lot of long wearing lipsticks out there, so this one is pretty good in my books.
