National Lipstick Day

Happy National Lipstick Day! To celebrate, I am sharing my favorite lipsticks. These are my go to's that are always in my bag. Lipstick can be a fabulous finishing touch to your look!

1. Milani Color Statement lipstick in Matte Diva. I love Milani lipsticks because they are so pigmented and last a long time without replying. The chic hold case is a bonus and very fun to pull out of your bag. This color is one of my favorites because it is such a bright, vibrant pink, but has a matte finish. 

2. Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in Fire & Ice. I love this color. I love this orangey- red color that pairs well with my fair skin. 

3. Maybelline Colorsensational the Vivids in Fuchsia Flash. This is another great bright pink option. There is a slight sheen to it. It is the one I am wearing in the photo. 

4. Circa Beauty Color Absolute Velvet Luxe Lipstick in 09 Rita. This is a good neutral red color. The case is super chic. The staying power isn't as long as others I've tried though. 

5. LOreal Infallible Pro-Last 24 hour Lipcolor in Berry Chic 24. This is the best long-wearing Lipcolor I've tried. It is simply amazing! Put on the lipcolor, wait 2 minutes and then gloss over the topcoat to seal in your color. This color literally lasts through eating, drinking, talking, and through a day of work. I was amazed when I first tried it. 

6. LOreal Infallible Pro-Last 24 hour Lipcolor in Infallible Red.

7. Rimmel London Provocalips 16 hour Kiss Proof Color in 310 Little Mink. A great magenta color. I found that this one doesn't last as long as the LOreal ones, but it is only has a 16 hour time frame instead of 24 hours. The topcoat is a liquid gloss coat instead of a stick. There are not a lot of long wearing lipsticks out there, so this one is pretty good in my books.

Coral & Stripes

Coral is such a fun and fitting color for summer! This sleeveless blouse from Target is the perfect summer staple and comes in a variety of colors. I have it also in black and teal.

I love a good blouse + pencil skirt combo. It's so easy and always chic. Add some fabulous, sparkly jewelry like my statement necklace from Top Shop and you are good to go! 

Let's talk about these fabulous shoes from DSW. The watercolor print and stripes with the bright coral is the perfect summer combination! These heels are perfect for the office and can easily translate to a night out without completely killing your pretty feet. We all know that cute heels sometimes can be disastrous to your feet.  Well with these shoes, you don't have to sacrifice style for comfort.  The two inch heel is perfect!

Cobalt & Leopard

I am loving this combination of this vibrant cobalt and leopard! The contrast of this beautiful blue against my fair skin is gorgeous and I love it. It really pops with the leopard too. By the way, this leopard skirt is by far one of my favorites. I like how it incorporates the darker colored leopard print that fades into a lighter version. It is also one I got on major sale for $12.80 about a year ago!

I splurged a little on these Sam Edelman slingback flats but still got them at an amazing price of $85 as opposed to $150 on Amazon. They are very good quality and the oversized jewels on the top are so me! Every once in a while you just have to purchase something you wouldn't normally buy or spurge a little on something you love! 

This pretty statement necklace is from Walmart and you wouldn't believe the price of $5! It is heavy and feels like a necklace if pay $20-$25 for somewhere else. It adds the perfect amount of glam to my outfit!

Faux Little Black Dress

When you don't have the perfect little black dress, make your own using a black top and a pretty lace skirt. This skirt was only $19.80 at Forever 21 and is such a wardrobe staple. My sleeveless blouse is a staple too and at Target for $20. This is such a classic look with the pearls and the leopard pumps. Red lipstick adds that special glamorous touch! I recently purchased this gorgeous quilted bag from Target for $40. It's such a nice size for work and also has the cutest leopard print lining.
