Hot Pink & Houndstooth Chic!

Ok ladies, let's talk about how perfect the pairing is of hot pink and black and white houndstooth! It's simply stunning! I absolutely love a vibrant pink and houndstooth is such a classic! I scored both of these pieces at the designer resale shop, Clothes Mentor for fabulous prices, each piece never worn! Again, it's all about the hunt for fabulous pieces for less like these that I scored for $6 and $14! The blouse is Ann Taylor brand and my cardigan is Merona from Target. I love the idea of pairing this cardigan with other vibrant colors. It's definately going to be a staple in my wardrobe.

Blush Pink

Fair skin girls can so wear blush pink! It's one of my favorite soft colors. I love this Apt. 9 blouse that I purchased from Kohl's. I love how soft this one is. It's perfect to dress up with a pencil skirt or give a pair of skinny jeans a fresh, casual  look. Chunky pearls keep my look sophisticated and snakeskin d' orsay  flats add some pattern and texture.

Gold Shimmer

Ok, so I'm posting this a little late, but December was a busy month. This is one of the outfits I wore right around New Years. I love this shimmery gold skirt. It's a Limited brand skirt that I purchased from Clothes Mentor, and you know if you have read my prior posts, that I love Clothes Mentor! I have found some pretty awesome and unique pieces there. I'm all about amped up classics, so I paired my skirt with a crew neck, black sweater. This green and gold statement necklace and a fabulous satchel complete my look!

Leopard & Stripes

Leopard and stripes is a combination of prints that work so well together. This skirt is one of my all time faves and it pairs well with bright solids, neutral solids and this striped black and white sweater.

Metallic t-strapped heels and some sparkly jewelry amp up this statement look.

Hot Pink, Black, & White

This hot pink sweater has been one of my favorites. It's so bright and pink is my favorite color. It's definately one of those pieces that can make a bad day a little better. I've paired it with a black and white speckled skirt, gold heels, and chunky pearls. I love the pop of the white pearls against the hot pink. I love a bright color paired with classic black and white.

Valentine's Day!

I had to work today, but of course more of a reason to wear a cute Valentine's inspired outfit! I love this scalloped pink top I scored last summer for $10 at TJMaxx. A black lace skirt is fabulous paired with it. This one was only $12.80 from Forever 21. My cardigan has clear sparkly sequins on it and I added even more sparkle with my statement necklace layered over pearls. Now heels add to my sweet look. I included the gorgeous flowers that my sweet valentine gave me.

Golden Houndstooth

Ok let's just talk about how fabulous this ruffled houndstooth blouse is!!! This is a Vertigo brand blouse, originally retailing for $125 that I snagged at Clothes Mentor for only $18!!! It is 100% silk and the houndstooth is black and shimmery gold, which is hard to tell in the pictures. It's so pretty! I love finding fabulous deals! Designer resale shops like Clothes Mentor have fabulous items and you can find some pretty pieces for a lot less than the department stores. I have found some pretty unique pieces the past few times I've stopped in.  They have current styles within the last 5 years! I have paired this fabulous blouse with a classic, black pencil skirt. Metallic, t-strap kitten heels and chunky pearls finish off my look!
